We use a variety of leather in the Cantoneri product range to suit our wallets, bags, backpacks and accessories.
We use Crazy Horse leather for our wallets, bags and backpacks, Split leather for some of our backpacks and Italian glossy leather for some of our wallets. The type of leather used will be outlined in the product description for your item.
This leather has been treated to look and feel aged while retaining a rugged and tough feel. The reason this type of material is called Crazy Horse is due to the fact that traditionally horse saddles were made of this type of leather.
Cow split leather is a type of leather that is created from the fibrous part of the cowhide and is formed from the top-grain of the rawhide once it is separated from the hide. The leather is cost-effective and ensures that leather is affordable for customers.
Italian Glossy LeatherThis type of leather is made to shine and is perfect for items such as wallets that are stand out pieces in your wardrobe. Water resistant and made to last, Italian glossy leather has a high gloss finish and is coated in a lacquer coating that provides a shiny surface.
